Jean Georges located in The Trump Hotel in NYC is a hopping place. Having a Central Park location probably helps with the foot traffic. Our meal started out rather unimpressive. The bread basket they offered was cold and stale tasting. However, it did get better when the courses started coming out. My favorite for the evening was the perfectly poached lobster with the incredible butter sauce. The pecan crusted duck was a close second. I love duck, and theirs does not disappoint. The portions were not at all petite and we were well satiated.

Update: It has recently been downgraded to 2 stars in the 2018 edition.
